Anisong Performer Sayaka Sasaki Announces Marriage to Garo Suit Actor

Popular anime theme song singer Sayaka Sasaki broke the news on her blog on Saturday that she married Japanese actor Sanshirō Wada. The couple tied the knot in November but both only recently announced the marriage.
Sasaki wrote that she met Wada three years ago through work and after about a year of knowing one another, Wada proposed on Sasaki's birthday last June. She wrote that although the proposal was sudden, she was very happy when he asked. The two remained engaged for five months before getting married on November 23, the same day the "Kinrō Kanshasai" Garo franchise event is held.
Sasaki starred as Inari in Garo: Crimson Moon anime in 2015 while Wada is a reoccurring suit actor in the Garo live-action franchise. He was Silver Fang Knight Zero's suit actor in the 2011 series Garo: Makai Senki, was the suit actor for both Golden Knight Garo Shō and Beast Form Knight Giga in Garo -Gold Storm- Shō, and reprises both those roles in Garo: Makai Retsuden.
Sasaki wrote that various circumstances kept her from announcing the marriage sooner, but she has no plans to stop singing. She added that she's stubborn, with one-track focus that's always put her work first. Her singing career has always been her highest priority, but she plans to balance family life now too and "deliver a song that puts more of her own heart into everyone else's hearts."
