To mark its fifth anniversary, the AnimeJapan event conducted the "Anime Anything and Everything Ranking." The project let people rank their favorites in various anime-related categories such as catch copy, official website, and merchandise. However, the fourth poll asking fans which manga they want to be made into anime has become a particular topic of discussion.
AnimeJapan conducted the anime adaptation poll from February 23 to March 2. A special streaming program, conducted at the event broadcast booth in cooperation with Niconico Live, announced all the results of the "Anime Anything and Everything Ranking" project on Friday.
Here are the top ten results for the manga people want to become anime:
- Umehara Fighting Gamers!
- Kyūketsuki Sugu Shinu
- Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi
- 10 Dance
- Nogi Wakaba wa Yūsha Dearu
- Fate/strange Fake
- Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation
- Bloom Into You
- The Promised Neverland
Fans picked series both new and old, and some previously appeared on Anime! Anime!'s own poll on the same topic. Namely, The Promised Neverland, Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation, and Psyren. Fans of Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation are lucky; Weekly Shōnen Jump announced that manga is getting a summer television anime series earlier this month.
