The spring 2018 season is just kicking off, but you might notice some reoccurring voices as you wade through the multitude of shows premiering this month. Who are the most popular male voice actors this season?

At the top of list is Yūichi Nakamura, the voice of Karamatsu in Mr. Osomatsu and Tatsuya Shiba in The irregular at magic high school. Nakamura is appearing in eight series this season, seven in a primary or supporting role and one in a minor role. His credits include Oskar von Reuenthal in the The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These reboot, the demon Sairaorg Bael in High School DxD Hero, the pianist Pang Wei in Piano no Mori, the romantically inexperienced Mitsuyoshi Tada in Tada Never Falls in Love, Mr. Gold's affiliate Sieg in Jūshinki Pandora, Kō Satomi in Lostorage conflated WIXOSS, Tokitaka in Rokuhōdō Yotsuiro Biyori, and coach Zhao Jin Yun in Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin.

Tied with Nakamura is Yuuki Kaji, the voice of Eren from Attack on Titan and Shoto Todoroki from My Hero Academia. Kaji is reprising his role as Todoroki this season along with seven other appearances in premiering anime. You can find him as Terunori Kuga in Food Wars! The Third Plate, Issei Hyōdō in High School DxD Hero, and Julian Mintz in The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These as well as Libra of Nil Admirari, Inazuma Eleven: Ares no Tenbin, Hisone to Masotan, and Otaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii.

Nakamura and Kaji only lead by a small margin. Yuichiro Umehara, Junichi Suwabe, and Mamoru Miyano are starring in seven series each, Kaito Ishikawa, Tomokazu Sugita, and Takahiro Sakurai are appearing in six, and Yoshimasa Hosoya and Showtaro Morikubo are appearing in five.
