Golden Kamuy Gets Branded Sapporo Beer Cans in Hokkaido

The official website for the Golden Kamuy anime announced on Thursday that a limited number of Sapporo Classic beer cans will be available featuring main character Saichi Sugimoto. The branded cans will go on sale on July 18, and they will only be available in Hokkaido, the setting of the anime and the original home of Sapporo Brewery.
A present campaign will offer a chance to win one of 150 packs of six regular Sapporo Classic cans and a set of two glasses with the collaboration art. Fans can use postcards from the packaging of the collaboration beer for a chance to win, and the deadline to participate is October 1.
A separate campaign will offer dedicated Golden Kamuy shops in June with exclusive merchandise, exhibits, and photo spots.
The 15th compiled book volume of Satoru Noda's Golden Kamuy manga will bundle an original anime DVD when it ships on September 19. The new DVD will focus on the manga's Barato arc, and includes a conflict between sniper Ogata Hyakunosuke and Bakumatsu hero Hijikata Toshizō.
The manga's television anime adaptation premiered on April 9. Crunchyroll is streaming the series with English subtitles as it airs in Japan, and Funimation is streaming it with an English dub.
