CAPCOM announced a collaboration between Monster Hunter: World and the ALOOK glasses brand back in April, and the companies revealed more details and designs for the collaboration at the "Monster Hunter: World Hunting Thanksgiving 2018" event in Tokyo on Sunday.

ALOOK will start selling Monster Hunter: World-themed glasses starting on July 28. The glasses will feature six designs including:

Each one also comes with an original Monster Hunter: World case and a cleaner cloth featuring the themed monster. The frames each retail for 12,960 yen (about US$115).

Other upcoming Monster Hunter: World events in Japan coming up include the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration, a special merchandise event at LOFT stores in Osaka, Tokyo, Sapporo, and Nagoya starting on July 20, a gameplay event in Osaka from July 28 through August 5, and an Ichiban Kuji lottery goods event starting on August 8.

Monster Hunter: World launched worldwide on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26, and shipped 5 million copies worldwide (including digital sales) in its first three days to set a new franchise record. The game has shipped over 8 million copies worldwide. The game will launch for PC via Steam on August 9.
