Attack on Titan's Reeves Tries to Market Titan Meat

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge
LAWSON campaign creates fake commercial, website starring merchant character

The collaboration campaigns for the latest Attack on Titan season seem nigh impossible to stop. Levi is the poster boy for laundry detergent while the rest of the Survey Corp defeat the "mystery meat" inside Cup Noodles. As it turns out, the world of Attack on Titan was hiding its own delicious meat, this time in a collaboration with LAWSON convenience stores.

A new commercial plays out like a home shopping network ad, in this case starring merchant Dimo Reeves as he tries to sell actual Titan meat on the "Shingeki Shopping" channel. He tries to entice Trost residents to buy the Titan flesh, the tastiest part of course coming from the back of a Titan's neck.

The commercial is all part of LAWSON's campaign to increase sales of Asahi Beverages this month. The company even created a shopping website for the campaign, intentionally designing it to look like something from the early era of the internet.

The campaign will award prizes to participants, including two kilo cuts of beef, original LINE stamps, image boards, and dakimura pillow covers of Levi, Erwin, and Hange. The campaign will run until the end of the month.
