Yoshika Miyafuji swoops in for Portsmouth International Kite Festival

Last weekend, the Portsmouth International Kite Festival was held at Southsea Common in Hampshire. Among the dozens of objects in the sky, anime fans might have spotted a representative of the famed Strike Witches.

Yes, Yoshika Miyafuji herself turned up to support the event, bringing her Striker Unit along. The legendary defender of humanity against the Neuroi doesn't seem to have aged a day since the 1940s. Nor is she any more inclined to wear a skirt or trousers...
