Ace Attorney Anime's 2nd Season Gets Puzzle-Solving Event

posted on by Jennifer Sherman

Gyakuten Saiban ~Sono "Shinjitsu," Igiari!~ Season 2, the second anime season based on the Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Saiban) game series, is getting its own puzzle-solving event from Asobi Factory. The anime-inspired event, titled "Gyakuten no Puzzle," will run from September 22 to October 21 at J-Square Shinagawa in Tokyo, and it is also planned to run in Osaka.

In the event's story, lawyer Ryūichi Naruhodō (Phoenix Wright) tries to uncover the truth behind a murder at a certain puzzle company. Participants will work with him to solve the case through puzzles, codes, and revealing inconsistencies in evidence.

In addition, the previous "Gyakuten no Riddle" event, which debuted in 2016, is getting a new run. Because the original event had a high degree of difficulty with many participants failing the challenge, the new run will have an extended time limit of 90 minutes.

Ticket sales for both the new event and the rerun of the previous event will begin on the ticketing website eplus on September 1.

The Ace Attorney games and anime franchise also inspired a Real Escape Game in 2016.

Gyakuten Saiban ~Sono "Shinjitsu," Igiari!~ Season 2 will premiere on television in Japan on October 6.
