VR Kanojo Adult Game Makers Follow Up with Boyfriend Version

Illusion's VR Kanojo offered a whole new dimension in erotic games letting players woo their love interest and do the deed all with Oculus VR and Vive VR support and additional scent option. The game was available censored from Steam but then could be patched to get the complete package.
Of course, there was one omission from the VR Kanojo experience; what if you're not into women? Well, Illusion announced that there's interactive virtual reality romance game for you, too. The company announced the VR Kareshi (lit. VR Boyfriend) game is really going to happen and is no longer just an April Fool's joke.
Players can design their ideal boyfriend down to which of three voice actors take on the role: either Showtaro Morikubo, Chihiro Suzuki, or Yoshimasa Hosoya. The character's default design is named Akito (pictured right) and is a barista. The cozy coffee shop is also the home to a Pomeranian named Haruo. Who doesn't love a guy with a cute dog?
The game will have a display booth at this year's Tokyo Game Show at Makuhari Messe from September 20-23 where visitors can give the mobile VR game a try.
