Eevee Web Manga Jumps Off The Pages for Limited Merchandise

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Project Eevee is a Twitter account focused on the brown furry Pokémon with nearly unlimited possibilities. The social media account and its official website is dedicated to spreading the charm of Eevee and all its evolutions. Fans can even request Eevee to drop by their work to raise team morale.

The Twitter account is also the host of the Eevee-centric four-panel web comic Project Eevee dayo (It's Project Eevee) by artist Yabai-chan. The comic has a silly and cute art style that's uniquely charming.

Fans of Yabai-chan's designs will be able to take Eevee home with them. Pokémon Center shops and other stores will sell can badges, mini pouches, acrylic key chains, and more merchandise starting on November 17. That same day, Yabai-chan will host an autograph event at The Village Vanguard at Shinjuku LUMINE EST location. Customers that purchase at least 3,000 yen (US$26.50) of the Project Eevee, dayo goods will receive a numbered ticket for an autograph.

Eevee is getting a major popularity push lately thanks to the upcoming release of the Let's Go, Pikachu!/Eevee! Nintendo Switch games on November 16. The games are set in the Kanto region of the first Pokémon games, and are specifically based on 1998's Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition. Similar to the main role-playing game series, certain Pokémon are unique to each version of the Nintendo Switch game.

Since the games' announcement, Eevee has appeared with Pikachu in "ToPikachu," Kansas; joined campers in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and danced along in Yokohama for the annual Pikachu Outbreak event
