It's Idol vs Idol for Shinkalion Guest Voice Role

It's been a few months since Shinkalion wrapped its giant Neon Genesis Evangelion episode. The kids' mecha anime would have to get creative to top it. What better way to get fan girls in a fervor than to announce that idol group Boys and Men would appear in an upcoming episode.
Well sort of, there's a catch to this collaboration. Boys and Men has 10 official members and the staff of Shinkalion decided to narrow down the guest role to just one. The idols had to audition against one another for the chance to appear in the 48th episode on December 8. The winning idol, chosen by director Takahiro Ikezoe, will be announced on December 3.
Boys and Men sang the anime's opening theme song "Shinka Riron." The group's singles "Boymen Ninja" and "Wanna be!" have both ranked #1 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart.
