Online Quiz Tells You Which Pretty Boy Would Be Your Ideal Partner

I can't say I've ever thought about which pretty boy voiced by a famous Japanese voice actor would be my ideal partner. But I'm glad that there's now an online quiz that will tell you the answers.

From February 28 to March 25, Kanebo Cosmetics is hosting an online quiz that will diagnose your fashion type. Based on your results, the quiz will also match you up with a fictional pretty boy. Each one has a few lines voiced by pretty boy voice actor specialists Yuichiro Umehara, Yūki Kaji, Kenichi Suzumura, Tomokazu Sugita, and Kenshō Ono. A "special voice" message is unlocked for Valentine's Day only.

The "Adult Man Who Has His Life Together" is voiced by Yuichiro Umehara. He is very serious and hard-working, perhaps too much so. Your love will save him from his loneliness.

The "Laid-back Curious Boy Who Lives For His Hobbies" is voiced by Tomokazu Sugita. There's no question that he'll support you because he never strays from the things he loves.

The "Typical Popular Guy Who is a Bit Stuck Up and Pushy" is voiced by Kenshō Ono. Although you, as a pure and naive girl, may seem like a poor match for him at first glance, you are truly special to him.

The "Cream Stew Guy Who Heals You and Whom You Wouldn't Believe is Younger Than You" is voiced by Yūki Kaji. He is gentle and will offer you support whenever you need it. The mutual respect between you makes you ideal lovers.

The "Calm, Average-looking Guy Who Does Things At His Own Pace" is voiced by Kenichi Suzumura. You are way more popular than him, but he doesn't mind it, and he is comfortable to be around.

Aside from telling you about your ideal partner, the quiz also gives recommendations about what kind of makeup and clothing you should wear. First, you have to use your phone or webcam to take a picture of yourself for the system to determine your skin tone. Then you will have 10 statements to answer yes or no to:

1) You don't want to have tea or a meal by yourself because you get conscious of the gazes of the people around you.

2) You don't wear heels lower than 5cm.

3) If you were to go on a trip, you'd rather have curry in Sri Lanka than go shopping in Paris.

4) You've gone out with a guy before without having formed a first impression.

5) You like having your fortune told but you don't take it seriously, or you forget about it.

6) You're the type who wears a lot of rings.

7) You're self-conscious about how you look in your social media posts.

8) You've tried juice cleansing before.

9) You don't go to the beach in summer because you don't want your skin to get burned.

10) When you choose a store, you prioritize atmosphere over the food.

Incidentally, the result I got when I tried this quiz was "Adult Man Who Has His Life Together." This is all well and good, but Yuichiro Umehara voices Siegfried from The Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These, and I don't want to be the jerk who gets between Siegfried and Reinhard.

Although the quiz assumes that you're a woman, it seems fun for men to try too. The quiz encourages you to share your results on social media.
