Cells at Work! Calendar Offered for Blood Donations

The characters of Cells at Work! are hoping to entice Japanese citizens into donating blood in exchange for a calendar featuring Red Blood Cell. The campaign will start on February 25 at Japanese Red Cross Society blood donation sites. The calendar supply is limited to the first 15,000 volunteers on a first-come-first-served basis throughout the country.
For anime fans hoping to bring their cells home with them, FOTS Japan will release a new figure of the series' adorable Platelet. The smiling character is shown holding her yellow warning flag signifying construction ahead.
The figure is currently available for pre-order for 14,904 yen (US$134) and FOTS Japan plans to ship the orders at the end of April.
