10 announcements are "coming soon"

Okabe and the rest of the Future Gadget Laboratory are getting ready for their big 10th anniversary celebration. The staff behind the visual novel series opened a teaser site for the anniversary on April 2. The site currently has 10 open spots for project announcements.

Set in Tokyo's Akihabara district, the original game followed Rintarō Okabe as he changes fate by travelling between different world lines. The game inspired a 2011 television anime as well as the Steins;Gate – The Movie – Load Region of Déjà Vu sequel, and the Steins;Gate 0 game. The Steins;Gate 0 game was also adapted into an anime series last year. The game franchise boasts over 1 million copies.

The town of Chiyoda was recently honored as an anime tourist destination due to its prominence in the Steins;Gate series.
