Gundam Gets Caffeine Fix for Latest Anniversary Collab

Mobile Suit Gundam's 40th anniversary includes collaborations both big and small. The newest announced partnership will pair the mecha franchise with Georgia Emerald Mountain Blend coffee and will include specially designed cans and vending machines starting on April 22.
The collaboration not only celebrates Gundam but the coffee brand too. The Emerald Mountain Blend flavor first hit shelves 25 years ago. A total of 25 different coffee can designs featuring characters from the Gundam franchise will debut from April 22 to August with four release "waves" planned. The first six designs include Amuro Ray, Char Aznable, Denim, Gadem, Bright Noa, and Dren.
Each can comes with a code that can be entered into a special website to reveal special images. Participants will also be entered to win one of 100 posters.
A themed vending machine will appear in Shibuya beginning on April 29 until May 5. Visitors can choose their coffee and hear the machine utter specially recorded lines by Amuro and Char.
