Charapedia Poll Reveals Most Popular Anime Voice Actors

Yūma Uchida and Yūko Sanpei won this year's Annual Seiyū Awards for best performance but which voice actors were fans' top choices? The website Charapedia calculated votes from its readers to find which actors and actresses are the current fan favorites.

Topping the women's list is the versatile Aoi Yūki. Yūki has a broad range of voices from the determined Tanya Degurechaff (Saga of Tanya the Evil) to the hesistat Madoka Kaname (Madoka Magica). Anime viewers can also hear her in One-Punch Man as the Terrible Tornado, My Hero Academia as Froppy, and The Seven Deadly Sins as Diane. Yūki pulled ahead of last year's winner Inori Minase to take the winning spot.
The favorite choice on the men's list is the inescapable Hiroshi Kamiya. Kamiya is a name stay in popular anime and has voiced many popular characters including One Piece's Trafalgar Law, The Monogatari Series' Koyomi Ararag, Mr. Osomatsu's Choromatsu, the titular Natsume of Natsume's Book of Friends, and, of course, Attack on Titan's Levi. This is Kamiya's sixth consecutive year in the #1 position on Charapedia.
