Talent studio Aoni Production is home to some major voice acting celebrities. The company represents Ryotaro Okiayu (How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord, Fullmetal Alchemist), Miyuki Sawashiro (Psycho-Pass, ReLIFE), and Ryoko Shiraishi (Wagnaria, Hayate the Combat Butler). Aoni Production has accumulated an impressive roster in the last 50 years, but the office is just now joining the world of Twitter.
The company opened its Twitter account on May 1 to celebrate its 50th year in business. The office's first ever tweet stars none other than Dragon Ball superstar Masako Nozawa. The 82-year-old voice of Goku is shown running full speed down the hall giving her most intimidating yell.
Nozawa has voiced roles in more than 200 anime, but is probably most known for her role as Goku in Dragonball and Dragonball Z. She has also played Tetsuro Hoshino in Galaxy Express 999, Dr. Kureha in One Piece, Kitarō in Gegege no Kitarō, and Guilmon in Digimon Tamers. She voiced the character Medama Oyaji in this year's GeGeGe no Kitarō anime. She has also been involved with radio and TV narrations, as well as the dubbing of American movies such as The Poseidon Adventure, Richie Rich, and Meet the Parents.
