posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Sanrio has made multiple anime series cuter with its mascot art style. From Re:Zero's Betelgeuse to the servants of Fate/Grand Order, anyone can become a Sanrio mascot with a size adjustment and a new pastel coat of paint. This time its the boys of Bungo Stray Dogs to get a makeover.

The collaboration opened a Twitter account and is sharing art of the literary figures turned detectives with different mascot characters.

The picture shows five characters paired off with different Sanrio mascots and each pair has exchanged costumes. Atsushi Nakajima is with Hello Kitty (wearing a white tiger hoodie), Osamu Dazai stands with My Melody, Ryūnosuke Akutagawa swapped costumes with Badtz-Maru, Chūya Nakahara is partnered with Tuxedo Sam, and Fyodor Dostoyevsky is joined by Cinnamoroll.

The account is also posting profiles of the mascots and cross over art true to the Bungo Stray Dogs style.

The third season of the Bungo Stray Dogs anime series premiered in Japan on April 12, and Crunchyroll is streaming the series with English subtitles and an English dub. Funimation is also streaming the series.

Sanrio's mascots are currently vying for the top spot in the company's yearly grand prix. The winner will be announced on June 4.
