Voice actresses Kumi Sakuma, Nami Miyahara, singer Haruka Shimotsuki expecting

The irregular feature chronicling the persona lives of celebrities is back with a new installment. Today we have reports of two voice actresses and a singer who are expecting children.

Tokyo Mew Mew voice actress Kumi Sakuma announced on social media on Sunday that she is expecting her second child this fall. She let her fans know that all she and the baby's health are well thus far, but she also asked for prayers for a safe birth and remarked on her age. sakuma. is 42-years-old, considered an advanced age for giving birth and carries an increased risk for complications.

sakuma. announced her marriage in 2012 and her first child was born in 2013. She may be best known as the voice of Lettuce Midorikawa aka Mew Lettuce in Tokyo Mew Mew. She voiced Nanami Akazaka in the 2014 anime series Recently, my sister is unusual.

40-year-old voice actress and singer Nami Miyahara is also pregnant. The news was announced on the official website for the 20th anniversary of the Ojamajo Doremi anime series on May 14. Miyahara was scheduled to appear at the 20th anniversary event in Fukuoka on May 17 but had to cancel due to her health. Miyahara is past the 20-week mark of her pregnancy and her doctor advised her to take it easy.

Miyahara wrote that she "would like to give a delightful performance for all of you once you after the successful birth of the "20th Anniversary Baby."

Miyahara voiced Momoko Asuka in the Mo~tto! Ojamajo Doremi anime series and film. She's also the voice of Lyuze in Casshern Sins, Miyako Goutokuji/Rolling Bubbles in Demashitaa! Powerpuff Girls Z, and Akari Tsukumo in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.

Haruka Shimotsuki rounds out the good news. The Rozen Maiden singer announced on her blog on Saturday that she tied the knot and is expecting a "long awaited" child. Her husband is not an entertainer and the marriage took place "a little while ago" according to Shimotsuki's post. She described her husband as the "best partner" who understands her worklife.

She wrote that she decided to make the announcement so her fans would not worry if she needs to take time off due to the pregnancy. She had some physical difficulties but wrote that she's entered a "stable period" and the baby is due in November.

Shimotsuki intends to continue her music career and wrote that she's excited to see what kind of music she'll be able to produce now that she's experiencing new things for the first time.
