Cells at Work! Releases 'Episode 11.5' Focusing on Pocari Sweat

A bonus episode for Cells at Work!, titled "Episode 11.5: Heatstroke ~If only we had Pocari Sweat~" was released on Pocari Sweat's YouTube channel on Sunday, providing a different spin on episode 11 of the series, featuring new animated cuts and voiced lines.
The roughly 10-minute long video plays out like a regular episode of the anime series, and depicts the characters attempting to battle against the heatstroke afflicting the human body. Eventually, Pocari Sweat is launched into the human body, providing some much-needed hydration and saving the day.
The first television anime aired from July to September last year. Aniplex of America has licensed the series and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. A new anime episode aired in December and Crunchyroll also streamed the episode. The television anime will receive a second season.
