Fate/Grand Order Celebrates 4th Anniversary with Anime Ad

The popular Fate/Grand Order mobile game celebrated its fourth anniversary with a new animated ad by A-1 Pictures. The one minute ad shows the heroes facing mythological monsters including a chimera and a hydra. The ad will air on television stations throughout Japan on August 7.
Fate/Grand Order has grossed US$3 billion worldwide as of March 2019 according to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence data. Last February, FGO was the No. 2 ranked mobile game for global revenue at US$84.3 million. It placed No. 59 in the United States. Aniplex released the Fate/Grand Order smartphone game in Japan in summer 2015. The game received an English release in the United States and Canada in June 2017.
The game is inspiring the Fate/Grand Order Absolute Demonic Front: Babylonia the television anime in October and the two-part Fate/Grand Order The Movie Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot films.
