Library Holds Saga Prefecture, Sega Games Collaboration

Only one letter separates Saga and Sega. That was the logic of 38-year-old librarian Kentarō Kiyomizu when he proposed to install a Sega-themed exhibit inside Saga city's prefectural library. "It all started from a simple, awful pun," he says.
The exhibit started in early August, in time for summer vacation in Japan. The exhibit offers a look at the history of Sega's games and consoles, along with roughly 50 books to peruse on the subject. Kiyomizu is himself a huge Sega fan and hopes that even adults in their 30s and 40s can enjoy the exhibit.
Kiyomizu says that if there is any connection between Saga and Sega, it's that "they're the type that remains in memory more than in record." Both have their dedicated fans as well.
The Saga Prefecture is also the real-life setting of the Zombie Land Saga TV anime, a fact which its governor is very proud of.
