Girls und Panzer Vacuum Blasts Away Dusty Floors

Get your own mini-tank to sweep up messes around the house! The mail order site +Style opened pre-orders on Thursday for a Girls und Panzer robotic vacuum modeled after Miho Nishizumi's Panzer IV Ausf.H D-shape tank.
The vacuum includes 45 voice recordings by Miho's voice actress Mai Fuchigami. Users can designate where they want the vacuum to clean and it can also work with smartphone apps, Google Assistant, and Amazon's Alexa.
The vacuum costs 49,800 yen (US$467) and only a limited number will be produced. Pre-orders will close once the maximum number is reached. Orders will ship in January.
The second film in the six-part Girls und Panzer das Finale film series opened in Japan on June 15. The franchise includes multiple anime, video games, and manga. The stories take place in a world where the art of tank-combat, is a traditional Japanese martial art for girls. Miho, a girl who just transfered into the Ōrai Girls' Academy in Ibaraki Prefecture, has been ordered by the academy's student council chairperson to join the school team and compete in the national Sensha-do championships.
