Tokyo Ghoul Actor Masataka Kubota Marries Nodame Cantabile Actress Asami Mizukawa

Live-action Tokyo Ghoul actor Masataka Kubota tied the knot with Nodame Cantabile live-action actress Asami Mizukawa on September 22. Their talent agencies made the announcement on their behalf.
The 31-year-old Kubota met 36-year-old Mizukawa on the set of 2017 drama Bokutachi ga Yarimashita. After co-starring in the series together, the pair's mutual respect for one another grew, leading to marriage. The actors' statement said they hope to build a lively and interesting family together.
Kubota starred as Ken Kaneki in the live-action horror films Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul S, both based on Sui Ishida's Tokyo Ghoul manga. He also lead the 2017 live-action Death Note television series as Light Yagami.
Mizukawa played Kiyora Miki in the 2006 live-action television adaptation of the Nodame Cantabile manga. She recently starred in the live-action series adaptations of Bakka Okita's Tōmei na Yurikago (The Invisible Cradle) manga, Hiromi Ōkubo's Hito wa Mita Me ga 100 Percent (Woman's All About the Looks.) manga, and the screen adaptation of the Crime and Punishment: A Falsified Romance manga.
