How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? OP theme 'Onegai Muscle' tops list

Music download website Mora published its list of top 10 downloaded Summer 2019 anime theme songs on Wednesday. The numbers were gathered from July 1 to September 24. The list is as follows:

  1. How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? opening theme "Onegai Muscle" by Ai Fairouz & Kaito Ishikawa
  2. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba opening theme "Gurenge" by LiSA
  3. Fire Force opening theme "Inferno" by Mrs. Green Apple
  4. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba ending theme "from the edge" by FictionJunction feat. LiSA
  5. How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? ending theme "Macho Anemu?" by Kaito Ishikawa
  6. Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace note ending theme "Hibari" by ASCA

Ai Fairouz and Kaito Ishikawa responded to their song's win, thanking fans for the positive response. The "Onegai Muscle" single released on July 24. To promote the song's release, Kadokawa released a "Muscle Video" of the song on YouTube on July 10, which accumulated over 4.6 million views. The video stars "muscle idol" and professional wrestler Reika Saiki and bodybuilder Naotaka Yokokawa working out together. At the end of the video, Saiki notices an advertisement for a muscle maid cafe.

The television anime of Yabako Sandrovich and MAAM's How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift? (Dumbbell Nan-Kilo Moteru? or How much heavy dumbbells can you lift?) premiered on July 3. The "body-building comedy" centers around Hibiki, a high school girl who loves eating, and Akemi, the beautiful and charismatic student council president who has a muscle fetish.
