Paris Saint-Germain Soccer Club Evokes Dragon Ball's Shenron to Grant Victory

An image of the wish-granting Dragon Ball character Shenron rose to support the Paris Saint-Germain soccer club at the team's match against Olympique de Marseille at the Parc des Princes on Sunday. The two clubs were competing in Ligue 1, France's major soccer competition.

Paris Saint-Germain won the match 4-0. Not only that, the club has won seven titles in total so far. This is also the number of Dragon Balls, which the characters in the series need to collect in order for Shenron to grant their wish. In the image, each Dragon Ball has a number indicating the year in which a title was won.

Last year, the club raised an image of Goku. Some observers noted that fans installed their own Shenron image in support of Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 as well.
