Sword Art Online Progressive Film Gets Crossover Promo With Marvel's Eternals

The Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night anime film teamed up for a joint commercial with Marvel Studios' Eternals film, highlighting how both titles are alike in telling a story about "the beginning."
Disney Studio's Japanese YouTube account posted the trailer for the collaboration on Friday. The video features voiceover by the Japanese voice actors of the films' heroines: Haruka Tomatsu (Sword Art Online's Asuna) and Ayumi Tsunematsu (Japanese Dub voice of Eternals's Sersi).
A crossover poster featuring the two properties will be released in early November.
Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night opened in Japan on Saturday. The anime is based on Reki Kawahara's Sword Art Online: Progressive light novel series, which is a revised retelling of Kawahara's original Sword Art Online novels. The story depicts Kirito and Asuna's journey through the floating Aincrad castle from the beginning, floor-by-floor.
Eternals will open in Japan and in the United States on November 5. The film tells the story of the Eternals, an immortal alien race that has secretly lived on Earth for over 7,000 years.
