Fourteen metre-high hand-painted mural promotes the spring 2022 anime season

Crunchyroll has posted a YouTube video which shows the creation of a giant mural at Shoreditch in London, to promote the company's anime titles and specifically the current spring 2022 season, with the mural depicting SPY x FAMILY, The Rising of The Shield Hero Season 2 and One Piece.

The hand-painted mural, fourteen and a half by six metres, was created by the artist collective Global Street Art, which previously created a giant mural at Camden Lock in February to promote the release of the film BELLE by Anime Limited.

The new mural is on Chance Street, and is visible from Box Park and Shoreditch Overground.

Gita Rebbapragada, the Chief Marketing Officer at Crunchyroll, commented: "We wanted to create something special for fans in the United Kingdom to celebrate our spring content season, which marked the first time we combined all upcoming titles on Crunchyroll."
