Professional Wrestler Kenny Omega Goes 'Plus Ultra' at AEW All In: London
posted on by Ken Iikura-Gross
During Sunday's All Elite Wrestling (AEW) All In: London pay-per-view event, Executive Vice President and professional wrestler Kenny Omega (Tyson Smith) entered his AEW World Champion match with a tribute to popular anime series My Hero Academia. Omega sported an outfit inspired by the series' All Might with an entrance narration by the character's original Japanese voice actor Kenta Miyake, set to the song “You Say Run”. The entrance narration was based on several of All Might's speeches from My Hero Academia.

Following the title match, Omega thanked My Hero Academia, Miyake, and Crunchyroll for his entrance, "Thank you to My Hero Academia, Crunchyroll, and Miyake-san for allowing me to represent All Might."
Omega faced Will Ospreay in the main event of AEW All In: London to defend the AEW World Championship title. The match ran a "35 thrilling minutes”" with Ospreay defeating Omega. The event also saw popular tag team duo Austin Creed and Kofi (formerly Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston) debut as the tag team New Level.
Omega is no stranger to collaboration entrances for major professional wrestling events. In 2019 he appeared at AEW's Double or Nothing in a jacket inspired by Sword Art Online character Kirito. During 2023s New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom 17, he made his entrance in an outfit inspired by Final Fantasy VII villain Sephiroth accompanied by a new rendition of the infamous Final Fantasy VII song "One-Winged Angel" by Nobuo Uematsu.
