Kenichi Suzumura voices pun-loving culprit of red fog incident in game shipping in Japan in August, NA this fall

The official YouTube channel for Japanese game developer Atlus began streaming a character promotional video for new original character Shō Minazuki for the upcoming PlayStation 3 port of the Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultrasuplex Hold arcade game, the sequel to Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena (Persona 4 Arena outside Japan).

Shō: Your peaceful days are over because of the red fog? I haven't the foggiest! Well of "corpse" I want to turn everyone into corpses! Just kidding! Hey. Come on. Laugh.
Shō: Oh, do I need a self-introduction? My name is "Sho Minazuki." I'm the mastermind behind this incident. Welcome, everyone... To my world.
Shō: Well, you've been identified as welcome to this unidentified showtime! Just kidding!
Shō: I told you, right? I'm going to break everything. Things like bonds? Don't make me laugh! I can smash those things with a single button!
Shō: Shut up shut up shut up! I'm going to break everything inside of you!
Narrator: The flawless dual sword-user! The law-breaking pun machine! Sho Minazuki!
Shō: What's this about the power of bonds!? It's just an excuse for weak guys to gather all together, right!?
Shō: All of you can just disappear! I want to be alone forever!
Shō: No matter how hard you guys fight back, you can't win!

A new character to the series. Nothing is known about him except for his name and appearance.

The PlayStation 3 port of the arcade game will ship in Japan on August 28. First copies will come with a code to download extra scenario set for the game. Atlus will ship the game in North America this fall under the title Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

The story takes place only a few days after the events of Persona 4 Arena, when the town of Inaba is clouded in a shroud of red fog in which time is warped and people disappear. Inaba has almost become like the world inside the television. To add to it all, the members of the Persona 4 team find Mitsuru and Akihiko being crucified on the Midnight Channel. In front of the Inaba students appear Yukari and Junpei, members of the Shadow Worker unit who have come to the rural town in order to save their upperclassmen.

Atlus released the first Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena game in Japan last summer on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and Atlus USA released the game in North America.
