To Love Ru: Darkness Vita's Furyu makes November 6 game

The July issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Takeshi Konomi's Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama (The Prince of Tennis II) manga is inspiring a romance adventure game for the Nintendo 3DS system. The magazine urges fans to "aim for the top of the rankings" and "decide your fate" in this Shin Tennis no Ōji-sama ~Go to the top~ game.

Furyu Corporation (To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness : Battle Ecstasy, Unchained Blades, Exstetra) will release the game on November 6 at retail for 6,458 yen (about US$64). The download version will cost 6,150 yen (US$61).

The Prince of Tennis II manga has been running in Jump Square since 2009. The story begins several months after the national tennis tournament that ended the original Prince of Tennis manga. Viz Media published Konomi's original manga run in North America.

Both the original manga and its sequel have inspired television anime. The Prince of Tennis: Eikoku-shiki Teikyū-jō Kessen! film opened in Japan in 2011. The Prince of Tennis II original video anime project will debut this fall.
