Sony Asks Fans to Keep Waiting for The Last Guardian

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida told gaming website Eurogamer that his company's message on Project Ico's The Last Guardian game is still the same as his previous comments. The company president asked fans to continue to wait for the game.

"Lots of people tweeted me they were heartbroken by that news [prior to the show]. People are going through this roller coaster of emotions, and it's our fault for not releasing the game, yet. We owe a lot to those people, but we really don't want to release piecemeal information until we can say this is The Last Guardian - so we ask you to wait."

Scott Rohde, the PlayStation software product development head for Sony Worldwide Studios America, clarified on Saturday that the The Last Guardian PlayStation game is not cancelled after an erroneous report by gaming website IGN's Russia branch.
