Keiko Enoue, Aya Suzaki Star in Inui-san Video Anime

The August issue of Shogakukan's Ciao magazine, which will ship on July 3, will include a Ciao Ciao TV DVD with an anime of Chako Tsukisuzu's four-panel comedy manga Inui-san!. The anime stars comedian Keiko Enoue of the manzai comedy duo Niche as Inui-san! and Aya Suzaki (Kill la Kill's Mako, Tamako Market's Tamako) as Rurumi Usagi.
The comedy manga revolves around a not-so-normal high school girl with the surname Inui (a pun of the word 'dog') who happens to be a dog. Together with her best friend Rurumi Usagi (pun of the word 'rabbit'), Inui plays around and falls in love.
The manga began as a one-shot in Ciao in 2009, and began serialization in the same magazine later that year. Shogakukan shipped the fourth compiled volume of the manga in Japan in February, and the series received the grand prize at the 62nd Shogakukan Newcomer's Awards.
