4th Kono Danshi project ships on DVD this winter in Japan

The official website for the Kono Danshi (This Boy) series of anime projects unveiled a trailer for its newest project titled Kono Danshi, Sekika ni Nayandemasu (This Boy Is Worrying About Turning to Stone) on Sunday. The original video DVD (OAD) is scheduled to ship in Japan this winter.

The text in the trailer is as follows:

The progressive Kono Danshi series directed by writer Soubi Yamamoto has brought tears and unity to many maidens.
#1: Kono Danshi, Uchū-jin to Tatakaemasu. (This Boy Can Fight Aliens!) A beautiful story of youth in which an amnesiac boy tries to fight to protect the world.
#2: Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita. (This Boy Caught a Merman) A youthful love story that pulls at your heart featuring a merman and a male high school student.
#3: Kono Danshi, Akunin to Yobaremasu. (This Boy Is Called A Scoundrel) A thrilling story in which a high school girl is caught up with four men with dangerous mystique.
Now, the Kono Dan series has launched its long-wanted fourth project! Kono Danshi, Sekika ni Nayandemasu.

Soubi Yamamoto will return to provide the original work, scripts, and will also take the position of director for the project. An official website is listed as "coming soon."

As a 21-year-old, Yamamoto made her scriptwriting and directorial debut in 2011 with the first 28-minute Kono Danshi anime, Kono Danshi, Uchū-jin to Tatakaemasu. (This Boy Can Fight Aliens!). Her followup, Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita. (This Boy Caught a Merman), was released in 2012. Last year, the third installment titled Kono Danshi, Akunin to Yobaremasu. (This Boy Is Called A Scoundrel) was released as a drama CD.

Sentai Filmworks licensed and released both This Boy Caught a Merman and This Boy Can Fight Aliens! for North America.
