Manga Entertainment Podcast Updates

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Attack on Titan second volume moved forward to October.

The latest Manga Entertainment podcast (95 minutes) has the following information:

- The second volume of Attack on Titan has been moved forward from December to October 27. (The first volume is still scheduled for September 15.)

- The Manga UK panel at MCM Manchester will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, presented by Jerome Mazandarani, Jeremy Graves and Andrew Hewson. (Unrelated to Manga Entertainment, Mazandarani also mentioned that the MCM Manchester programme guide should include an advertisement relating to a new anime property on Netflix, following the site's recent release of Knights of Sidonia.)

- Manga confirmed that it had decided to change its release plans for Psycho-Pass following its release by Funimation as a complete set in America. (It will be released in Britiain on September 1, also as a complete set.)

- Re the continuing delays to Evangelion: 3.33 (now moved back to February 2015), there were no new updates from Funimation about the situation.

- Mazandarani mentioned he had been talking to the owners of the three Patlabor feature films, and wanted to know if there would be a demand for Blu-ray editions of them.

- Re Manga's earlier plans to release a box-set of Mamoru Hosoda's films, Kadokawa has The Girl Who Leapt Through Time while Nippon TV has Summer Wars and The Wolf Children Ame and Yuki. Kadokawa did not want to 'cross-bundle' The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
