Manga Entertainment Panel Announcements at Manchester

Confirmations include Ghost in the Shell Arise, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, CGI Harlock

The website UK Anime Network has tweeted the following announcements from Manga Entertainment's afternoon panel at MCM Manchester Comic Con.

- The first two episodes of Ghost in the Shell Arise ('Border 1' and 'Border 2') will be released as a two-disc set on November 24, on both DVD and Blu-ray. (This should not be confused with the upcoming Steelbook release of the 1995 Ghost in the Shell film, which is due on September 29.)

- The 2013 feature film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will appear on December 10 on DVD and Blu-ray. It will also have a limited cinema release, and will appear at this year's Scotland Loves Anime festival. Manga Entertainment licensed the film from Fox, not Toei, and the home release will have both Japanese and English tracks.

- Bayonetta: Bloody Fate (a feature film adapted from a fighting game) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 24 (the same day as Ghost in the Shell Arise).

- Manga has acquired the live-action game adaptation Street Fight Assassins Fist, already released as a web series. It will come to DVD, Blu-ray and Steelbook on October 27.

- The CGI film version of Space Pirate Captain Harlock will come to DVD and Blu-ray in early 2015.
