News Site Clarifies 4th New Evangelion Film's Reported Date

In its Friday article on the upcoming airing of three Evangelion films, the website Web The Television wrote that Shin Evangelion Gekijō-ban 𝄇 (シン・エヴァンゲリオン劇場版𝄇) "is slated to open at the end of next year." Within an hour of posting the article, the website updated the sentence to say that the film "has created a stir online and is reportedly opening at the end of next year." It also added a qualifier: "(There is no official announcement of the opening date.)"
The film is the fourth and final one in Hideaki Anno and Khara's four-part remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion series. The film was previously listed for 2013, but its official website no longer lists a date. The August 2013 issue of Enterbrain's OtonaFami magazine reported that the film will open in Japan in 2015. The previous issue had listed a "Winter 2015" date. The film's anime Studio Khara has not announced an opening date.
