The preview for the October issue of ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Maoh magazine will announce that a manga adaption of the Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth Nintendo 3DS game will launch in the magazine's October issue. Manga artist Akaume will draw the adaptation.
The magazine is also serializing Shūji Sokabe's Persona 3 and Persona 4 manga adaptations, Ryō Yasohachi's Persona 4 & Persona 3 & Persona 3 Portable Tartarus Gekijō, and Satoshi Shiki's Persona x Tantei Naoto spinoff about Persona 4's Naoto Shirogane. ASCII Media Works also published Shiichi Kugure's Persona 4 The Magician, Kō Sasakura's Persona 4 Yasoinaba Case File, Aiyakyū's Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena manga, and launched a Persona magazine in 2011.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth shipped in Japan for Nintendo 3DS on June 5. The story takes place on the last day of the Yasogami High culture festival. During the event, the heroes of Persona 4 see a strange bell tower appear on the school grounds. The heroes of Persona 3 also hear the bell, and are dragged into the future where the Persona 4 cast awaits. The two groups are locked in the school covered in Shadows, but meet two mysterious individuals named Zen and Rei, who have lost their memories. The cast soon learns that Zen and Rei's lost memories may be the key to solving the mystery of the bell tower's sudden appearance.
