The September issue of Kaiosha's Gush magazine is announcing on Tuesday that a live-action DVD adaptation of Nozomu Hiiragi's Docchi mo Docchi (Same Difference) boys-love manga has been green-lit. Hiiragi mentioned on her official Twitter account that the cast of the adaptation were taking cell phone photos at the set.
In addition, Hiiragi will begin serializing a new series of Docchi mo Docchi in the magazine for a limited time. The preview hints that Ozaki and Tsuburaya will return.
The romantic comedy revolves around Ozaki and Tsuburaya, two men who work in a high-rise office building and are extremely popular with women. When the two rivals find themselves becoming couple, the two fight to see who is the position of power in the relationship.
Hiiragi began the manga in Gush in 2011, and Kaiosha shipped the third compiled volume of the manga in March. Digital Manga publishes the manga digitally in English.
