Bow Ditama's "forbidden" romance manga inspired 12 anime DVDs, TV anime

The 12th and final original anime DVD for Bow Ditama's Kiss×sis "forbidden" romance manga will be bundled with the limited edition of the 14th manga volume on April 6, 2015. Kodansha announced that the DVD will have "the final episode at last" and teases that fans will have to wait until next spring to see if it will have a "slapstick climax" or a "tearful ending."

The main story follows the "forbidden" love between a boy and his two stepsisters. Ditama created the manga as a one-shot story in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in 2004, and then turned it into a regular series in Bessatsu Young Magazine in 2005. The first original anime DVD shipped with the third manga volume in 2008, and the manga also inspired a television anime in 2010.

The 11th original anime DVD episode (listed as "episode #10" since there was an "episode #0") shipped on Wednesday with the 13th manga volume.
