Weekly Shonen Jump to Launch Jūdōs Sports Manga

Shinsuke Kondō's "unprecedented judo manga" to launch on September 8

This year's 40th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Shinsuke Kondō will launch a manga series called Judos (Jūdōzu) in the next issue on September 8. The magazine proclaims that this will be an "unprecedented judo manga." The manga will begin with a 54-page chapter with a color opening page.

Viz Media had announced that it will launch a "Jump Start" initiative on September 8. Under this initiative, Viz's digital English anthology Weekly Shonen Jump will run the first three chapters of "almost every single" new series that debuts in Shueisha's original Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in Japan.
