A Certain Scientific Railgun Manga's New Arc Delayed Due to Artist's Sudden Illness

Start date for new arc not announced

Keitarō Ono, the editor of the Toaru Kagaku no Railgun (A Certain Scientific Railgun) manga, announced on Tuesday that the beginning of the new arc of the manga has been delayed to September due to author Motoi Fuyukawa's sudden illness. The editor apologized for the delay.

Motoi Fuyukawa is providing the art and story for the adaptation of Kazuma Kamachi's spin-off light novel series. The manga began serialization in ASCII Media Works' Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in 2007. The manga's 10th volume was released in July.

Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series for North America in 2010 and shipped the manga's ninth volume in April.
