Wake Up, Girl Zoo! Anime's 1st Episode Previewed

Avex began streaming a preview for the first episode of the Wake Up, Girls! spin-off anime, Wake Up, Girl Zoo! on Friday.
In the episode, the zoo owner is worried that there is only one animal in her zoo. However, that one animal dies. The zoo keeper is forced to find new animals, and hires a group of female animals on the condition that the zoo feeds them three times a day. Although the zookeeper is proud of the group he has gotten together, the zoo owner says there needs to be a leader. The zookeeper finds a lion girl on the swings, and offers her a job as an animal. Offended, she eats him. However, her shark friend tells her that she can get fed and laze around if she joins the zoo.
The main cast members are:
- Miyu Takagi as Miyu (eagle)
- Nanami Yamashita as Nanami (wolf)
- Minami Tanaka as Minami (tiger)
- Mayu Yoshioka as Mayu (lion)
- Airi Eino as Airi (shark)
- Kaya Okuno as Kaya (crocodile)
- Yoshino Aoyama as Yoshino (polar bear)
The cast members sings the theme song "WUG Zoozoo." This song will be included in the Wake Up, Girls! Character song series, a set of seven CDs which will ship over the course of four months starting on September 3. In addition, the cast will appear at the Milk Lariat ~Moe Seven Sense~ event on December 7.
