California's MacrossWorld Con to Host Singer Mari Iijima, Illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin

MacrossWorld Con organizers announced on Friday that singer and voice actress Mari Iijima and illustrator Hidetaka Tenjin will attend the California event on October 4.
Iijima is the voice of Lynn Minmay, the pivotal idol singer in The Super Dimension Fortress Macross television anime,
The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? film, and The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012 original video anime. Iijima held a concert at last year's MacrossWorld Con.
Tenjin is a illustrator and mechanical artist whose works include Macross Zero, Aquarion, Noein - to your other self, Hellsing Ultimate, and Macross Frontier. He also drafted mechanical art for the Gundam and Space Battleship Yamato franchises. He started his career drawing the Macross' signature fighter, the VF-1 Valkyrie, for a fansite while he was in college. This later led to work for the official publications Macross Chronicle and Space Battleship Yamato Fact File.
Tenjin previously attended last year's MacrossWorld Con and Baltimore's Otakon convention in 2012.
MacrossWorld Con will be held at the Torrance Cultural Center on Saturday, October 4.
