The staff of the upcoming Eiga HappinessCharge PreCure! Ningyō no Kuni no Ballerina (HappinessCharge PreCure! the Movie: The Ballerina of the Land of Dolls) film announced the cast for the film's original characters on Tuesday.

Yui Horie will make her debut in the Precure franchise in this film as Tsumugi, a ballerina from the Doll Kingdom.

Daisuke Ono will play Prince Jiik, the prince of the Doll Kingdom who enters the film riding on a white horse.

Toshiyuki Morikawa will play the villain Black Fang, who is attacking the Doll Kingdom.

The film's story is set in the Doll Kingdom where dolls dwell. In the story, the Pretty Cures are watching a doll play about to start, when the dolls suddenly start talking. "Please rescue Our Kingdom!" the ballerina named Tsumugi says, and she leads the Pretty Cures to the Doll Kingdom. There, the Pretty Cures thought they would be surrounded by cute stuffed animals, but instead they find a mysterious man named Black Fang who is attacking the kingdom, and he captures Tsumugi. The country normally filled with happiness is hiding a sad secret, and the Pretty Cures must help save the day.

Participating theaters will begin selling advance tickets on July 19 with a "Kururin♪Odekake Bag" in pink x yellow or blue x purple. The bags come with matching charms that change patterns, depending on your viewing angle.

The film will open in Japan on October 11.
