Flash-animated comedy and live-action drama premiere Friday

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the anime series ANISAVA and the live-action drama special Mischievous Kiss 2- Love in Okinawa (Itazura Kiss 2- Love in Okinawa).

Anisava will premiere on Friday at 6:00 p.m. EDT for all users in the United States, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and Central and South America including the Caribbean.

Benipineko (Itsumo Wagamama Gama Ōji, MonHun Nikki Girigiri Airū-mura G) directed the series and Kukuxumusu designed the characters. Flash animation studio DLE (Dream Link Entertainment) streams the series for free online in Japanese, but the series will have an English dub.

Crunchyroll describes the series:

Welcome to the concrete jungle, where it's a struggle to survive among the animals of the city. Watch Jake the bear, Jenny the cat and their cast of slightly crazy friends as they live, love and try to stay sane in a wild world.

Mischievous Kiss 2- Love in Okinawa will stream on Crunchyroll on Friday at 5:00 p.m. EDT for premium members, and free members will be able to watch one week later. The stream will initially be available in the United States, Canada, and Latin America (Central and South America), but will extend worldwide (excluding Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Philippines) 6 months later.

The story will follow Naoki and Kotoko on their honeymoon in Okinawa. Former AKB48 member Yuka Masuda and actor Nao Okabe will play another newlywed couple in Okinawa. Taiwanese actors Evan Yo, Lele Cheng, and Jacob will also make cameos in the special. All three actors starred as A.N.Jell members in Fabulous Boys, the Taiwanese version of the Korean drama You're Beautiful (the Korean drama also spawned a Japanese version titled Ikemen desu ne).

The girls band Cyntia will perform the theme song "KISS KISS KISS." Tada's widower Shigeru Nishikawa will himself handle the music production for the special. The special will get a DVD release on September 17.

DramaFever is also streaming the special.
