GTO's Tohru Fujisawa to Start New Manga in Hero's Magazine

The November issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Hero's magazine announced on Wednesday that GTO creator Tohru Fujisawa will begin a new manga series for the magazine. The title had not yet been announced. Hanta Kinoshita and Noriyoshi Inoue will also collaborate on a new "unpredictable high-speed suspense" series titled BABEL.
A live-action film based on Fujisawa and Manabu Akishige's Soul Reviver manga series is in the works in Hollywood. The manga has been running in Monthly Hero's since the second issue in 2011. Fujisawa created the scenario and original character designs, while Manabu Akishige (D-ASH, GO-ON!) is drawing the manga.
Fujisawa also launched the manga Oishii Kamishama in Shogakukan's Shonen Sunday magazine last month. He is ending his Kamen Teacher Black (the sequel to his four-volume Kamen Teacher manga series) in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine this month. Fujisawa launched GTO: Paradise Lost in Kodansha's Young Magazine in April, and Crunchyroll is releasing it digitally.
