Suppli's Mari Okazaki to Launch Zutto Dokushin de Iru Tsumori? Manga

The November issue of Shodensha's Feel Young magazine is announcing on Wednesday that Mari Okazaki's new Zutto Dokushin de Iru Tsumori? (Will I Stay Single Forever?) manga will debut in the following issue on November 8. Okazaki is creating the story based on Mami Amemiya's original web essay series about being a single woman.
Okazaki is best known for her workplace romance Suppli, which ran in Shodensha's Feel Young magazine from 2003 to 2009. The story revolves around Minami Fujii, a woman who discovers romantic opportunities at her job in an advertising agency after she splits up with her boyfriend. Tokyopop published five volumes of the series. The manga was adapted into a television drama in Japan in 2006.
Okazaki is also penning the historical drama A-Un in Shogakukan's Monthly Big Comic Spirits magazine.
