Mega Pidgeot & Beedril, Mirage Spots, PokéNav, demo also previewed

The Pokémon Company International began streaming a new trailer introducing Mega Latios, Latias, Pidgeot, and Beedril for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS games Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire on Tuesday. As with the original games, Latios will be available in Omega Ruby and Latias will be available in Alpha Sapphire.

Players will be able to ride Mega Latios and Mega Latias in a new method of travel called "Soar," which allows players to perform tricks while flying and go to Mirage Spots to find other legendary pokémon. All legendary pokémon will be obtainable in either Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X, or Pokémon Y. Players will also be able to obtain the Eon Ticket, which allows Omega Ruby players to obtain Latias and players of Alpha Sapphire players to obtain Latios.

The trailer also reintroduces the PokéNav feature as PokéNav Plus. The feature includes new apps such as DexNav to find certain pokémon, AreaNav to find region information, and BuzzNav to find information about other players. The feature also includes apps from Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, such as the Player Search System, Pokémon-Amie, and Super Training.

The demo version of the game will be available in North America on October 21. Players will need a serial code from the October Pokémon Trainer Club newsletter to download the demo from Nintendo eShop.

The new titles will remake the 2003 Game Boy Advance games Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire. The games are slated to ship on November 28 in Europe and November 21 in Japan, North America, and Australia. The games will be compatible with Pokémon Bank and Pokémon Global Link.
