Shinkurō is given proposition of arranged marriage with daughter of one of the 13 inner families in 5th installment

Shueisha announced on Monday that the release of first new volume in Kentarō Katayama's Kure-nai light novel series in approximately six years has been green-lit. The book will be titled Kure-nai ~Yugamisora no Hime~ (Kure-nai ~The Princess of the Warped Sky~).

The story begins when Shinkurō goes out shopping and meets a fellow classmate. Through many happenings that occur, Shinkurō ends up leading a girl named Misora Matsubara to the station. During New Year's, he spends his time with Yūno and the others. In this time, he is approached by Meiri with the proposition of an arranged marriage meeting. The possible bride in question is the only daughter of Yugamisora, a member of one of the 13 Inner Families.

Not wanting to cause trouble for the Hōzuki family, Shinkurō accepts the offer for the meeting. Although Shinkurō thought he had gotten Murasaki to understand his circumstances, she shows up at the venue for the meeting. Who they met there is in fact the girl Shinkurō had helped get to the station, and she says her full name is Misora Yugamisora (full name meaning Warped Sky, Bewitching Sky).

The Kure-nai novel series is penned by Kentarō Katayama and illustrated by Yamato Yamamoto. The series began in 2005, and the last published volume- the fourth- was released in Japan on April 25, 2008. The novels inspired a television anime adaptation from Brains Base aired between April and June 2008, and starred Miyuki Sawashiro (Galaxy Angel, Sword Art Online II) as Shinkurō Kure-nai, Aoi Yūki (Go-sick, Valvrave the Liberator) as Murasaki Kuhōin, and Ryoko Shintani (Galaxy Angel, Kage kara Mamoru!) as Yuno. The TV series was followed by an original video anime project. Sentai Filmworks licensed and released the TV series in North America on DVD with subtitles.
